
Dr. Julie Ferraro, PT, DPT

Pediatric Physical Therapist
Dr. Julie Ferraro discovered her passion for working with children, particularly children with disabilities, when she was 18 years old working at Camp Shalom. She believes that all children, regardless of their ability level, just want to play, laugh, and have fun! Upon graduating from University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BS in Rehabilitation Psychology, she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at New York University.
She has a background in stroke and traumatic brain injury, adult neurological, orthopedic/multitrauma, and cardiac rehabilitation. Dr. Julie has also worked for years in Early Intervention and at a sensory gym for older children. She is is a certified Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME) level 2 practitioner, and trained in NDT, and aquatic therapy. She has immense experience with medically fragile children, children with genetic disorders, global developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, prematurity, toritcollis, plagiocephaly, and other undiagnosed delays.
