Occupational Therapist
Kristen Permenter
Kristen received an associate in early childhood education from Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada. Working in a nursery school, Kristen recognized the therapeutic benefits of creative expression for children. She continued her education at St. Thomas Aquinas in Blauvelt, NY and received a bachelor’s degree in art science with a focus in Art Therapy. Driven by a passion to further support children’s holistic development, Kristen completed her master’s degree in science of occupational therapy. She has had opportunities during fieldwork to work in a sensory, gym, therapeutic school, integrated elementary schools, and assisted living homes.
Since 2019 she has focused on Early Intervention in NJ. Her commitment to continuing her education and promoting a neuro-affirming practice, she is currently pursuing a certificate in the DIR/Floortime approach. She believes in positively impacting the family dynamic by celebrating neurodiversity and individual differences.

Speech Language Pathologist
Carolyn Ismach
Carolyn brings fun, playfulness and passion to each and every client she works with! A mom of two, Carolyn holds a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University and has worked in a variety of settings upon graduating in 2010. She has experience evaluating and treating children of all ages with receptive and/or expressive language delays, articulation deficits, cognitive-linguistic deficits as a result of genetic or acquired conditions, learning disabilities, hearing loss, Autism spectrum disorder, traumatic brain injury, apraxia of speech and other health impairments. Carolyn also has an extensive background in dysphagia evaluation and treatment, as well as cognitive-linguistic treatment post stroke. Carolyn is PROMPT trained, MBSImp certified and LSVT certified. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2011.
